Simple but effective planting in NE Portland at a restaurant. ‘Zuni’ Crape Myrtle in a tree form as well as Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’, Hakenochloa macra ‘Aureola’, Phormium tenax  ‘Purpurea’ and on the corner is the tough shrub Lonicera pileata a low and spreading evergreen with translucent purple berries. ‘Pecos’ Crape Myrtle is in the back.
